Food and art lovers, this may be for you: "The Sculpture of Food," a new exhibition on view through April 11 at the Bronx River Art Center, is the second of 10 planned exhibitions related to food. It examines food as a material, how we experience it with our senses, and why it carries cultural meaning. On the last day of the exhibition, visitors can go on a foraging tour to learn about the urban ecosystem as they walk from the gallery to the local community garden Brook Park, followed by a picnic.

Bronx River Art Center, 305 E. 140th St., Bronx; 718-589-5819, Admission to the gallery is free.
