Join the Bronx River Art Center on Thursday, December 1st, from 6:00-8:00pm, at Rex Hall, for the Closing Reception of Work In Progress Part 1 and Kickoff for WIP Part 2! Work In Progress is a Pop-Up showing of contemporary art by local Bronx and NYC artists, at the newly transformed Rex Hall in the famed Arthur Avenue section of the Bronx. BRAC's curatorial team asked the selected artists to explore their imaginations and challenge themselves to take their art to new heights, literally and figuratively, in this extraordinary new space. 

Over the past month, BRAC has hosted 11 artists as they came together under Rex Hall's restored copper ceiling, creating artworks and teaching workshops in the space throughout the run of Work In Progress Part 1. As we prepare for a new group of artists to move into the space and launch Work In Progress Part 2, we would like to invite you to join us in both celebrating the accomplishments of our Part 1 artists and also welcoming our Part 2 artists into the space. Come see how these 11 artists have transformed 3,000 square feet of this historic banquet hall into an active arts and culture hub, right in the heart of the Bronx's Little Italy.
